Our Projects

The Foundation supports the improvement of medical services in the rural areas of the country by taking a well equipped mobile medical caravan to rural areas of the country; to treat these communities free of charge. The mobile medical caravan comprises of medical doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists and dispensers as well as other volunteers. In addition, the Foundation’s caravan is also equipped with the necessary medical lab equipment, materials and facilities required for the trips as well as a sufficient supply of the drugs; which are given out to patients free of charge. SAJCF’s water initiative provides free sustainable water resources in the form of concrete lined wells and boreholes for rural communities. Additionally, the Foundation provides other philanthropic community development services to rural communities including educational programmes, sponsorship locally and internationally and the sponsorship of medical treatment for needy individuals and the rehabilitation and building of mosques.

SAJCF’s work focuses on:

  • Mobile medical caravan trips which provide free medical services to people living in rural areas
  • Free Health Training Programme for community health personnel in rural areas
  • Free water / irrigation resources for rural communities struggling with scarcity of clean water
  • Other community development initiatives for rural communities including educational projects including the sponsorship of students struggling to finance their education and the rehabilitation and building of mosques.
