SAJCF has successfully expanded its water initiative to more remote communities in the Central River Region (CRR) and the Upper River Region (URR) thanks to the donations of sponsors.

In 2016, the Foundation developed two (2) solar operated borehole project, one in each of the above mentioned regions to serve large communities much in need of these services.

The projects have included sustainability and educational components and extensive engagement of the local communities through dedicated project committees. These projects have made major improvements to the water infrastructure within the rural communities.
